Threat Preparedness

Threat preparedness is responsible for writing, and implementing plans to mitigate, and recover from disasters. We also maintain a database of volunteers, to be called upon during times of need, to help the Health Department accomplish its mission. Threat Preparedness also works closely with epidemiology in the areas of disease investigation and outbreaks. For more information on the aforementioned areas, please see the links below or visit ready.gov for more information on preparing your family for a pandemic.
