Flu Shots
Seasonal flu vaccine is available at Cabell-Huntington Health Department, located at 703 7th Ave, Huntington, on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8:00 to 11:00 AM and 1:00 to 3:00 PM for ALL individuals who live, work, or volunteer in Cabell County or the City of Huntington. No appointment is necessary. Please bring your Medicare card if you are enrolled. The flu vaccine is recommended for all persons over the age of 6 months.

Please remember that good personal hygiene measures can limit the spread of the flu virus. This includes (but is not limited to):
- Covering your mouth when you sneeze and discarding the tissue in a closed container.
- Frequent hand washing with hot soapy water.Avoiding rubbing your eyes.
- Avoid going out in places such as schools, workplaces, theaters, etc. if you are infected.
